March Kids On #KidLit winners–2 ten-year olds! #literacy #k12 #elemed #librarians #edchat

April 2, 2012 Kids On KidLit No Comments

Announcing TWO WINNERS for the March Kids On KidLit drawing. The first winner, Nick (age 10) comes from Cambridge Heights Elementary School, the school I visited for Read Across America Day. The Cambridge Heights Reading Specialist helped her students submit several reviews as part of a celebration of reading and to reward them for their efforts. Read Nick’s review of When a Dragon Moves In by Jodi Moore.

The second winner was an independent submission from Carter (age 10) who entered his school book report for Dragon’s Nest by Emily Rodda. Read Carter’s review.

Congratulations to Nick and Carter!

Kids On KidLit is a
fun way to get kids writing…and reading, because every child who submits a
review is entered into a drawing for a free age-appropriate book! Visit The
Best Blog for Kids Who Hate to Read
to learn how Kids On KidLit
brings families together
.

To help a child submit a review visit my website for an easy-to-complete form. All reviews will be posted on my
blog. A winner is selected every month. Children may submit as often as they
like.

Help spread the
word!
