in-person or virtual author visits that inspire writers of all ages

Celebrate with me on Read Across America Day  ♦  World Read Aloud Day  ♦  Sea Otter Awareness Week (last week in September)  ♦  Earth Day (April 22)  ♦  World Oceans Day (June 8)  ♦  Dr. Seuss' Birthday  ♦  Endangered Species Day

What are my author visits all about?

Educators tell me my author visits delight, entertain, and educate their K-8 students. My developmentally appropriately programs weave elements of the writing process together with my passion for STEM, the environment, and global citizenship. All of my programs cover my initial idea, my process, revision, organizing research, withstanding rejection, and working with an illustrator or photographer. My visits empower children to believe in themselves, because after all, that’s what writing is all about — having the courage to express yourself for an audience.

Watch my brief video and decide whether an in-person visit or a virtual session is best for you. Click CONTACT in the menu above to start the process.
