Kids On KidLit: Megan (age 11) Reviews THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ISLAND #literacy #kidlit #k12 #parenting

September 21, 2011 Kids On KidLit No Comments

The Other Side of the Island by Allergra Goodman is one of the books I read this summer.

I really like this book because it’s adventurous and mysterious. During the book I try to solve mysteries along with the main character but my answer is always off from the real answer.

I love what happened in the book because nothing makes sense until the end. The main character is named Honor and her were parents were taken. Honor and her brother, Quintilian, had to live at their school in an orphanage. Honor and her best friend, Helix, try to solve where their parents are. After a big storm Honor goes to find their parents.

That’s the book review. I hope you read this book. If you like adventures and mysteries like me, you’ll LOVE this book!!!
