For a laptop conference on nonfiction writing, be sure to read Nonfiction Writers Dig Deep, edited by Melissa and featuring essays from 50 top NF writers in the industry.

I suggest becoming a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). Take advantage of conferences, meet-ups, critique groups, networking opportunities, and more!
